About

Thank you for visiting the ARRL Colorado Section web page. I will make every attempt to keep it current and meaningful. I hope you will find some of the information posted here useful to your ham activities.

I decided to make a web page that linked from the ARRL Colorado Section website because I just couldn’t get all the current information that I feel is necessary on that constricted text only page.  Here you will find news pertaining to the ARRL Colorado Section, the ARRL Rocky Mountain Division and ARRL Headquarters. I have included an Events calendar with info as to what is happening here in Colorado and is linked to location maps for showing meeting addresses, etc…  Another page has Colorado ARES items with links to all of the Colorado ARES Districts. There are some photo albums of ARES activities in the drop down menu. Another emergency event, the Colorado Floods of 2013, has a page dedicated to just that information. Another page is for Field Day 2013. Field Day rules, forms and links to other good info on Field Day can be found there. The ARRL tab has timely items of ham radio interest and a photo tour of Headquarters in Newington, CT and of the W1AW station in the drop down menus. I have included a Colorado Club page with links to most of the ARRL ham radio club web pages in Colorado. Yet another item in the drop down menu has the National Traffic System net info for the previous month. There is a page that has info in regards to License Classes and VE Exams in the area. Last, but not least, a page with info on the Technical Specialists in Colorado. They are your best resource to tackle any  EMI/RFI problems you are trying to resolve.

There is a link on the menu to my Colorado Section Facebook Page where many interesting tidbits are posted from the many members that show up. Another link is to my own WMØG website.

If you have anything to say or comments to make and most of all, have any suggestions for this web page, please use the Blog Section and drop me a note.

TNX ES 73,

Jack, WMØG
