Moving Sux!

CA0RIXMNI just completed a move from our old house to a spiffy new apartment. The reduction is square footage is really dramatic and the ‘downsizing’ was traumatic. All my Collins gear and old Vintage gear are gone, either sold or donated. My Yaesu FT-1000MP has found a new home in Pennsylvania and my two meter gear is still in storage. Fortunately, I can access the Boulder Amateur Radio Club’s remote station and keep myself on the air for the time being.

Getting back on the air will take some time and even more ingenuity to find a stealthy solution to getting a station working from this new QTH. But, that has never stopped me before. I managed to obtain my 5BDXCC using 100 watts and just my raingutter as an antenna over the last ten years. Check out the “raingutter” story by clicking on the Index label of “WMØG”.

I will post my progress…
